Living in a new city on a budget, amid the cost of living crisis has made me more considerate of everything I take home. As the cost of my food shop increases, so too does my willingness to interact with my grocery shop in a more mindful way. What a staement to say I can survive, even thrive! You’re milking it!
Another small artefact I was interacting with daily in my barista job here in Rotterdam, are plastic milk pull-tabs. Occassionally popping them on my finger instead of discarding them immediately.
With the new designs of many milk caps, these tabs are becoming more and more rare but I have immortalised them, in sterling silver, for you to wear.
Each pendant/ring/pair of earrings are handmade to order - from recycled 925 sterling silver.
